WOMAN HITS MEN'S NECKS IN BUNGOMA'S 2027 GOVERNOR'S RACE

HIGH TIME FOR BUNGOMA AS A WOMAN EMERGES FOR GOVERNOR'S RACE.
Bungoma among the counties set to have a woman aspiring for Governors's race in 2027 since devolution.
Selah Mutsotso has emerged to be the first woman to vy for Governors's seat in Bungoma county as she says despite a girl child in the society at large in previous years,being neglected and even denied opportunities to hold bigger positions either in elective or appointments,now it's a privilege for them that no woman is limited.

Speaking to press, Mutsotso reassured Bungoma residents that having experience in various positions including,Chief officer for cooperatives in the first regime of Bungoma's first governor Ken Lusaka, Mutsotso says she is eligible to run Bungoma for best delivery in accountability and equity.
"Supposing the people of Bungoma trust  and elect me as their first woman governor,my assurance for them is to firmly fight against the four major enemies of mankind which are; Disease,poverty, ignorance and bad governance".says Mutsotso.

The family of Bukusu worrior Elijah Wanameme  ,Dini ya musambwa,Bukusubcouncil of Elders ,musicians and locals were privileged to be hosted at the Bukusu Cultural Centre-Kamukuywa,Kimilili constituency Bungoma county, for the 61st Mashujaa day to honour their legend freedom fighter Elijah Wanameme.         Musicians celebrating 61st Mashujaa day at BCC This comes after the late Elijah Wanameme was recently honoured by HE Dr.William Ruto-President, as a Kenyan hero who contributed much towards achieving the independence.
