PALANG'A CALLS MULEMBE NATIONAL TO RALLY BEHIND SIFUNA

Olkaria Ward MCA,Nakuru County, Peter Palang'a, has urged the Mulembe community to embrace Nairobi  Senator Edwin Watenya Sifuna in the contest for the country's presidency  election scheduled for August 10, 2027.

Speaking during the burial ceremony of Mzee Edward Mukenya in Bokoli Ward, Webuye West Constituency  Palang'a, who is the Minority Leader in the Nakuru County Assembly and also an aspirant for the Webuye West parliamentary seat, says there is need for residents from the mulembe community to defend their own , Edwin Sifuna, in those efforts despite being despised for having no money to facilitate campaigns across the country.

_"They say he has no money and it's true, but money and leadership are two different things, Sifuna has been approved and accepted by Almighty God. I ask that we stand with our child,"_ said Palang'a.

The statement was supported by Bokoli Ward aspirants Martin Swale and Anthony Nyongesa respectively, urging leaders from Bungoma County led by National Assembly Speaker Moses Wetang'ula to be at the forefront in returning home and protecting Sifuna.

Furthermore, Palang'a, who is serving his fourth term representing Olkaria residents, says  time has come to prove to his home residents (Webuye West) his performance for the parliamentary seat come August next year.

Following Sifuna's party's move to vie for the presidency, Palang'a said residents should be patient and in less than 10 days, they will have launched the party under the Linda Mwanainchi umbrella, which they believe is the pillar to oust President Dr. William Ruto and his Government from power.
